Even though we do not sell your data, you retain the full right to opt-out of any future data sale, as well as opt-out of non-essential data sharing for targeted advertising, at any time, for any reason.
6. How to Opt-Out of Data Sale/Targeted Ads
You may opt-out of the sharing or selling of your data for targeted advertising at any time, using the following methods:
6.1 In-App Opt-Out (Direct & Instant)
- Open the Quellr app and log in to your account
- Go to Settings > Privacy & Security
- Select Advertising Preferences
- Toggle off "Personalized Ads" to opt-out of targeted advertising
- Toggle off "Share Usage Data for Ads" and "Share Device ID for Ads" to prevent data sharing for ad purposes
- Save your preferences – changes take effect immediately
6.2 Device-Level Opt-Out
- iOS: Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising > Toggle off "Personalized Ads"
- Android: Go to Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization
6.3 Email Opt-Out Request
Send an email to alshouseslightam@gmail.com with the subject line "Opt-Out of Data Sale/Targeted Ads", including your registered email address and user ID. We will process your request within 7 business days and send a confirmation email.
6.4 Consequences of Opting Out
- You will receive non-personalized, generic advertising instead of targeted ads
- There will be no impact on the core functionality of Quellr Services
- No additional fees or charges for exercising your opt-out rights
- You may reverse your opt-out at any time through the same channels
